#ppafestival thanks for a great day. Learned loads and topped off by one of the best closing event key items I've seen in my career. #PostOfficeScandal Bryan Glick it was great to catch up again.

Enjoyed #ppafestival with alan rusbridger and Nina Wright. Interesting qs about trust in journalism, which I think we need to take some blame for: endless clickbait, annoying partisanship in UK media and the declining quality you get when you ask reporters to write 5 stories a day.

There will be a follow up documentary with ITV - one of the wonderful things is that sub-postmasters who hadn’t previously come forward have now done so #ppafestival

There are extraordinary stories out there that we write about that don’t involve ‘a murdered woman in a basement’ but they are still worth telling #ppafestival

An emotional message from Jo “thank goodness for the Computer Weekly articles and the drama series, we are empowered because of that” #ppafestival

Jo Hamilton was a former sub post-mistress and it was 3 years ago that her conviction was quashed, after originally discovering the discrepancies in 2003. The public enquiry is still going on and will do until at least 2028. #ppafestival

How does a story that began in magazines make the national press in this way - Alan Bates got in touch with Bryan Gluck @ Computer Weekly alongside others over time.. #ppafestival
