The conference sought to bring together researchers from around the world, in order to de-centre the study of the challenges and opportunities associated with various digital emerging and disruptive technologies and to enrich the state of the art.

I thank Dennis Broeders @[email protected] and Lise Andersen for the opportunity to take part in such an important, and meaningful, event and project, which they led in a meticulous fashion (filled with goodwill and benevolence). I learned a lot from them, and the authors, in the process.
