Last week I was incredibly honoured to receive a Univeristy Medal for academic excellence during my undergraduate degree UQPsych. I'm also extremely grateful for my supervisors Paul E. Dux and Hannah Filmer alongside my friends and family who supported me throughout this journey!
Apologies for the late post, but we’d like to thank all who attended our meeting last month! We had the pleasure of hearing from Tara Rasmussen (Tara Rasmussen) and Prof. Phil Grove. (1/3)
What a fantastic 3 days with Svetlina Vasileva visiting schools in Rockhampton and Gladstone for Wonder of Science! We had a great time working with students on their challenge tasks and fostering enquiry based learning 🧠🔬 #science #STEM #wonderofscience
Thank you to Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society for the opportunity to also present this week at #acns2023 and for awarding me Outstanding Open Talk by a PhD Candidate! I wouldn't be where I am without my incredible supervisors Paul E. Dux and Hannah Filmer ⭐️🙏🏼 I can't wait to see what 2024 holds!

#UQ researchers have found a combination of multitasking training and brain stimulation results in enhanced performance on an untrained task, a phenomenon known as ‘transfer’. Find out more: brnw.ch/21wISVA #Health #Psychology #UQPsych Paul E. Dux Shane Ehrhardt
🧠⚡️ New results from our n=178 brain stim dataset using 7T MRS and fMRI! ⚡️🧠 1. Baseline glutamate levels predict the gains from stimulation. 2. Brain stimulation modifies learning-related changes in patterns of activity. 1/9 academic.oup.com/cercor/article… jneurosci.org/content/44/21/…
