Off the radio. It's often a request though, not a statement.

The music is exceptionally sublime tonight BBC Radio 2 loving the show #LizaTarbuckRadio love to everyone!
I’ve missed some pretty big events this year. Until recently I didn’t even realise the Edinburgh Fringe was on right now. The Oscars, was another. I’d only know from Wrighty’s previews (with ‘Bowesy’ Peter Bowes) on R2. The Big Show is dearly missed. Radio hasn’t been the same.
.Jeremy Vine being waxed live on the radio is… quite something… 😂
I find it incredible that these were the last two gigs I went to: orla gartland Declan McKenna Long before I could know they would collab! Love the new record 🧡 (See you on 9th Oct Orla :))
Is there a better feeling than knowing you’ve backtimed to the Top Of Hour perfectly?!! (with the best jingles ever AJ Music-Anthony James)
Special AJ Music-Anthony James jingles premiered on Bank Holiday Monday (August 26th 2024) on what would have been #SteveWright’s 70th birthday… An homage to the Big Show and the Big Man on a day we will now call “Wrighty Day”. soundcloud.com/user-583863651…
I am very sad to say that my dear friend of over 60 years and producer of BBC Radio 2 Sound of the Sixties passed away yesterday afternoon after a long illness.I am so glad I saw him and his wife Lynsey last Friday. Phil, the Collector, Swern will be missed by us all.
BBC friends… if you’ve ever used Desktop Jukebox, you have the late phil swern to thank for the content I Like Music. I love this story about how they pitched for it
Does anyone else listen to Dr Fox @NeilDoctorFox on the Network Chart Show Nation Radio UK on a Sunday afternoon? Thoughts? Three great years, and some great jingles (with that classic Groove Addicts Pepsi Chart logo!!)
The caller on Jeremy Vine right now is just brilliant 😂😂😂😂 you have to listen to this!!
Sad to hear about the passing of Jamie Scott. We bonded and chatted all things radio and jingles after we lost Wrighty in February. We’ve lost too many greats this year. Jamie Scott. A genius in television and radio. His productions were legendary. Rest well.
Any of my radio friends on here heading to the The Radio Academy Festival in London on Sept 18th?
