Wow, what a week at #IMC2023 in Busan 🇰🇷. Amazing work from the team and cool to see so many global colleagues in person again. Talks and posters full of developments in our adjustable pole-piece, scanning strategies for low-dose, and digital electronics for STEM and DPC ❤️🛠️🔬

This week we celebrate and congratulate Dr Tiarnan Mullarkey (Tiarnan) as the first PhD to graduate from the Trinity Ultramicroscopy (Jones) Group and from the CDT_ACM. We could not be prouder and we wish him every success in the future ❤️🔬

Time for this year's TCD Ultramicroscopy Research group photo! Since last year, we especially welcome new students Matthew Mosse, Megha Kachappilly and Maixent Cassagne (all beginning with 'M' by pure coincidence 🤔).

Let's talk #TEM camera flanges. We're using the CF standard so new cameras are interchangeable across microscopes, improving financial/environmental #sustainability. What do you think of our adapter plates to existing columns? Anything missing? Would you use these in your lab?
