My uncle went to hospital for minor procedure, was only supposed to be there for short stay. Unfortunately he now has pneumonia and has picked up some 'bug' and is extremely ill in intensive care. It's appalling that going to hospital can now make you sick.

Teresab Similar thing just happened to someone in my family but they went home for a day or 2, & made it back to hospital with less than an hour before death due to the infection, barely survived. Family friend caught COVID on day they were releasing from minor procedure, and then died.

Teresab I'm so sorry. Unfortunately this is the new normal when people in charge ignore airborne nature of viruses. Without good ventilation, air filtration and respirators worn by HCW hospitals are great sources of infection. It doesn't have to be this way.

Teresab Unfortunately Covid is rife in hospitals and no one is tested anymore. They even tell staff to come in if they are sick. Respiratory illnesses dropped drastically in hospital when everyone was masked. Now they just spread like wildfire

These people are just staggeringly obtuse. They cannot think straight. They lack rigour. They cannot follow the simplest logical chain of reasoning to its conclusion. I think that's an explanation.
