Looks like more pay rises on the way for rail workersโ€ฆ If you give an inflation-busting pay deal to one union, no surprises others come knocking too. telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/09/0โ€ฆ

Eleven of Keir Starmer's Cabinet claimed taxpayer-funded expenses to pay for their energy bills in their second homes - with expenses rising by 75% over three years. And meanwhile, the Labour government stopped millions of pensioners from receiving their winter fuel allowance.

'I admire twentysomethings for their interest in politics at an age when I was mostly clueless. But if you have a set of views that you canโ€™t question, and a group of friends whoโ€™ll disown you if you do, youโ€™re not a political activist โ€“ youโ€™re in a cult.' โœ๏ธ Mary Wakefield

Meanwhile an 80-year-old grandfather killed while walking his dog, a 13-year-old boy stabbed in his own home, pensioners terrified of heating their homes this winter, prisoners being released early, knife crime rife - and our government is SERIOUSLY DEBATING OASIS TICKET PRICES??

โ€˜The Home Secretary thinks investigating and recording 65 โ€˜non-crimesโ€™ a day isnโ€™t excessive. Thatโ€™s a bit odd, given that not a single burglary was solved in nearly half of Englandโ€™s regions last year. Shouldnโ€™t the police be focusing on actual crimes?โ€™ โœ๏ธ Toby Young

The Rwanda Migration Pact was so terribly bad, that EU member states want to copy it. Hey #TwoTeirKeir - your pal Scholz, who only last week you were announcing partnering on migration with, wants to copy the scheme you said was a waste of time and promptly cancelled.

The typical selfishness of remoaners / rejoiners. "I don't care that the UK has billions more a year to spend on public services, because I want to take my dog with me to Paris"

As the GB Energy Bill passes second reading, a quick reminder of how incredibly dodgy the maths behind Labour's energy policies is. (1/?)

Possibly misleading the House? My goodness. Harriet and her Merry Band of Kangaroos will never stand for that! ๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿฆ˜๐Ÿฆ˜

Still no publication of the data tables, and still no publication of who is funding your polling - despite BritishPollingCounci rules requiring it of you. In fact, I don't recall you *ever* publishing who funds your polling. So who does fund it? Cc Jane Green

Gully Foyle #UKTrade (@terraorbust) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Hi JLP Are you going to be publishing the data tables for this polling on your website? As you've gone past the 48hrs mandated by the BritishPollingCounci, and still no data on your website.

Since I'm again getting daily posts asking me who funds me, as if I haven't answered the question hundreds of times, to the people who keep asking but obviously cannot cope with the answer. I'm not funded by anyone. I post in a personal capacity. I have a full time well paid job

Man who lives in France, posts in French, about a country he doesn't live in choosing to handle its border as it wants, when France has food that is 30% more expensive than the country he doesn't live in. #Brexit

So the Labour government are yet again just reheating Conservative solutions, and pretending that they are brand new. ...and why didn't the last government get more prisons built? Oh that's right, because Labour councils kept blocking them.

Since Mike Galsworthy wants to talk about #Brexit and food prices. Maybe he would care to comment on how food is not only more expensive in the EU than in the UK, but how since Brexit the gap has *widened*. Perhaps making 47% of all products tariff free made things cheaper?
