Tropical Storm Francine Update! Galveston County has issued a voluntary evacuation of the Bolivar Peninsula effective until Wednesday at 8pm. We highly recommend that anyone with medical conditions consider evacuating at this time.

TxDOT crews continue to monitor conditions on SH 87 on the Bolivar Peninsula. TxDOT recommends leaving the peninsula via SH 87 traveling east to SH 124 heading north toward Winnie and head west on I-10 westbound. Conditions at the GALVESTON FERRY could change on a moments notice.
