Wow - Darzi does not pull his punches. Without being overtly political he is excoriating about the previous government. Eg "The Health and Social Care Act of 2012 was a calamity without international precedent."

I fear this part of the Darzi report already risks getting lost - but it is absolutely key. If we want to avoid another lost decade for the NHS, we have to invest in the wider public sector and all the other things that make up the wider determinants of health.
