Our 20% lemon off the Texas coast is not doing a lot, and not expected to do a lot for the most part, other than stick around for much of the upcoming week bringing showers to parts of Texas and Louisiana. #TXwx

Models having an extremely difficult time with our 40% western MDR wave. This mornings roller coaster ride is concentrated on the Yucatan and Central America by next weekend. Keeping it weak as well. Stay tuned though, it will likely change next run. #Tropics #Tropicalwx

Models, as for now, keeping Cabo Verde wave in the eastern Atlantic just to the west of the Cabo Verde islands.

Couple of tags today. East coast piece gets tagged Invest #99L at 30%, highest of the 5 AOIs out there, but dealing with crazy shear. Texas coastal piece is at 10% and is now Invest #90L. By the way, the Caribbean lemon drops to 20%.

Invest #90L is officially off the board, but our now 12 day old AOI is splashing down in the Bay of Campeche. And it’s up to 60% for the 1st since it was well east of the Lesser Antilles. #TXwx #LAwx

Invest #91L is officially on the board. GFS naturally has a hurricane near Galveston midweek. Euro keeping it weak for now. Going to be a rainmaker for sure along the Texas coast and into Louisiana throughout the week. #TXwx #LAwx
