Weekends in the ICU means cheese rolls

I’m working o my ICU notes and the hubs is watching a movie. Can I just say that I love the fact that he loves “Ratatouille”? 😊

#WalterWhite does not use either of the cat houses we have for him and always hangs out in this little area in front of our house. Can you see the “bed” he’s made by repeatedly resting there? 😊

To all those who think my hubs is a great cook bc he cooks a few times on my #ICU weeks, this is what he had ready for me tonight 😄

Because I’ve been at the #ICU since 1:45am, I learned two things 1) my team has my back (the nurses brought me a cup of Frappuccino during rounds, the chaplain made me chai) and 2) I’m too old for this. 🤣

Got paged at 1am and was able to fly down the 405 to the #ICU at that hour. I’m pretty sure I pissed off some traffic gods with the tweet below and getting my punishment lol. It’s gonna be a long day.

There is nothing that can make losing a child ok, but I do hope that this painting of their son's fingerprints incorporated into his favorite movie (Cars) will bring a smile to his parents' faces. #PedsICU The 3 Wishes Project

I left at 7:03am yesterday and was 5 min late. I left at 6:55 today and am 25min early. I hate #LAtraffic

Glad to report that I had lunch on my first day back on #ICU service and came home to delicious meal the hubs made! Roasted pork tenderloin in pomegranate sauce!

I start back in the #ICU tomorrow. Perhaps bc it was so physically & emotionally hard last time, or perhaps bc I have so much non-clinical work I need to do, I am kind of dreading it. Send me good-luck-vibes.
