Asymptomatic bacteriuria is common and corresponds to a commensal colonisation that may protect against superinfecting symptomatic UTI. Thus, patients with recurrent urinary tract infections should not be treated in case of asymptomatic bacteriuria. #UroUTI #EAUguidelines
