Oh! Has an election been called? Because I’ve received what definitely looks like a campaign letter from the Conservatives. Do we have a date?

Oh lord, Dan Dennett has died. That's a huge loss to the intellectosphere. He ruffled lots of feathers and often divided opinion, but he was a phenomenal thinker and always worth listening to. And a fabulous writer.

Happy !

We found this funny little artefact on our dig at Earth Trust. We found it on a Roman part of the site, and it's made of metal. But what is it for?

Serious suggestions, silly guesses, and wild speculations, are all welcome!

It’s been wonderful seeing the enormous amount of interest in our giant ichthyosaur, Ichthyotitan severnensis.

The bones, along with other specimens (incl' the 'Aust giant'), will go on display Bristol Museum & Art Gallery in the coming weeks.

Abso-bloody-lutely... currently working on next bit of research about something that we've not really looking at fully yet - mineral resources: how they affected what the Romans did... and how the Iron Age responded to that!

This is a good idea. Young people deserve the same opportunities so many of us benefitted from at the beginning of our adult lives, and UK industries like the arts and hospitality would benefit too.
