If you are referred to the London Gender Clinic today, based on current rates of first appointments the waiting list is 37 years. These segregated clinics need to be closed. Patients need to be seen in primary care the way everyone else already is.

I have quite litteraly given up any hope of getting my HRT through the NHS. Gender Recognition Clinics are designed to stop people transitioning, not to support trans people. Scrap them all now and let GPs prescribe HRT when their trans patients request it.
