I rarely think the left has good ideas. Universal healthcare is probably the only left of centre policy I still actually support. But yes, I get what you mean. The idea that our side can only be good & the other side can only be evil is the narrow mindset that underpins woke.

Yes. It’s a left wing activist group, nothing more. Of course they won’t call out the left's corruption. In that case why are they still called “Led by Donkeys”? Labour are leading the country now, which would surely make them the donkeys?

The grey crap is going out of fashion & ageing badly. At least the stuff in the past when it became dated still had some colour. My grandparents’ avocado green bathroom with shell shaped sink for example. It was hideous, but it was spectacularly hideous. The grey is just boring.

I’m convinced that this government is so stupid that the only damage it will manage to inflict will be to itself.

My grandkids will just inherit my grandparents solid wood furniture since they’re family heirlooms. They’re going to end up with Art Deco wardrobes, Edwardian dining tables with clawed feet, gilded mirrors, stained glass lamps, gothic chests & bookcases.

I’d like to see a 21st century brick gothic revival.
