Todays #Artemis launch is a major step forward in returning humans to the moon. I'll be following along on NASA TV nasa.gov/multimedia/nas… Best of luck to all involved!

Unfortunately the #Artemis I launch had to be scrubbed. Technically the next available launch window is Sep 2nd though I suspect the time & process required to fix the component/issue will be too much for this date and we’ll be looking at more of a month long delay instead.

Just finished my #StarWars re-watch, which now not only includes the three trilogies and Rogue One but also Obi-Wan Kenobi. So good. #NoRegrets

The liquid oxygen tank fill is complete, and the core stage is full! These tanks hold the propellant that will power the rocket's four RS-25 engines at #Artemis I liftoff.

This GIF compares another 1976 Viking 1 image (070A13) of the 1.5-km-wide Cydonia "face" with the HiRISE one from 2007. What a difference between ~55m/pixel and 29 cm/pixel resolution! (Sources: msss.com/education/face… and hirise.lpl.arizona.edu/PSP_003234_2210)

JUST IN: On April 3, we will reveal the crew for NASA Artemis II! Four crew members – three from NASA & one from Canadian Space Agency – will fly around the Moon. Together, they’ll test the NASA_SLS rocket & the Orion Spacecraft spacecraft. We are going! #StateOfNASA

In case you wanted to truly appreciate how much better JWST is than Hubble, there's the same region of sky from: the Hubble XDF (top) with 23 days of data, JWST's NIRCam imager with <1 day of data. Some objects are in the JWST data that can't be seen in Hubble's at all!

Before driving off, Perseverance took this picture of Ingenuity perched on a sand dune. So long, little friend. You made everyone proud.
