‘The Chronicles of France’ (1371-1435?) is a medieval treasure held by Guildhall Library since 1516. 496 vellum pages with fine miniatures by Ravenelle Painter, active around 1400. Ivy leaf decorations accompany the miniatures. Text on 50 lines in 2 columns. A beautiful book.

A small but very much appreciated donation! Today we received this remarkable book from a visitor from Australia. The World's Smallest English Dictionary published circa 1890 by David Bryce. Complete with it's original metal box. We are delighted to add this to our collection.
