This is the anniversary of the epic Shuttle mission to service Hubble. Atlantis launched from 39A, while Endeavour sat on 39B, ready to launch in the event of a rescue requirement.

The mobile service tower is now rolled away from the vehicle revealing the final Delta IV Heavy.

Richard 'Dick' Truly was the only astronaut to fly Enterprise during testing and then fly on an actual shuttle mission into orbit.

I had the honor of meeting him (right) along with Bob Crippen back in 2012 when the original Enterprise exhibit opened on Intrepid.
