This week we (@Nasaspaceflight) published a video about STS-125 and its mission to upgrade Hubble before the end of the Shuttle program. A fascinating story that included a rescue Shuttle on standby. Today is the anniversary of the launch of that mission.

It may not be totality but it's still quite the show!

This is 50% coverage, the max here in South Florida. While it's not like the total eclipse I saw in 2017, it still got cooler out and the colors started to feel muted.

See totality @nasaspaceflight: youtube.com/live/teUtSBS8s…

The grey skies among a bright orange rocket is perfect for Delta IV Heavy's goodbye.

It's sad to see it go but this last flight will be just as metal as the rest, if not more!

Make sure you watch the big show from the big boy rocket with Chris Bergin - NSF youtube.com/watch?v=HmYYhR…

For those who don't know, I've had a few recent health issues including a week in the hospital, hence not a lot of launch photos here.

Tonight I hit the backyard to snag the Starlink 6-42 launch! Notice the gap during staging!

Cape, I'm coming!

Richard 'Dick' Truly was the only astronaut to fly Enterprise during testing and then fly on an actual shuttle mission into orbit.

I had the honor of meeting him (right) along with Bob Crippen back in 2012 when the original Enterprise exhibit opened on Intrepid.

RIP
