If you use ngrok on a vps, check out zrok. Free and open source, I'm about to use it to host projects on my hetzner vps. On this reddit post: reddit.com/r/selfhosted/c…, said: 1/2

Check out zrok.io too, it allows public sharing (behind AuthN if you want), & its built on OpenZiti, the zero trust networking platform. All open source, though zrok has a free SaaS too.

The security architecture that will make cybersecurity tractable is one where users control cryptographic keys and permit decryption of their data while they are interacting with a service provider. Authenticating to that service provider should be of limited utility w/o keys.

I read a post earlier claiming a solution was 'secure by default' by using TLS! Better would be mTLS with E2EE so service providers cannot process your data without permission. This is exactly what we make easy with free & open source openziti - openziti.io

Today Nigel Farage MP said he was mislead by Andrew Tate on the identity of the recent murder 1) A sitting MP should not rely on a famous vile misogynistic thug for their information 2) An MPs job is to fact check 3) No British MP should cosy up to Andrew Tate RT if you agree.

No, not 💯 Elon. In the U.K. they’re not going round ‘finding people who’ve said something they disagree with and putting them in a f—king cage.’ Some people are being charged for inciting racial hatred and for organising acts of violence. It’s very specific, and it’s the law in

I'm really liking the #opensource Zrok utility. It's an alternative to ngrok to expose applications externally, with no hassles. On Windows, you can install zrok CLI with: ➡️ scoop install zrok github.com/openziti/zrok #software #developer #devtools #coding #rustlang

nice innovation from the openziti community for Talos Linux. Talos is terrific for quick, enterprise-grade edge K8s deployments. this will enable Talos infra and apps to be unreachable from the networks (even the management APIs), w/o VPN horrors: openziti.discourse.group/t/openziti-mee…
