Michael V.'s neighborhood, Wanskuck, was once the mill village. Later, when the mill closed, houses remained affordable for the working and middle classes.  Unfortunately, its proximity to Providence College has put that housing at risk. Read more at link in bio.

In 1871, PVD’s 1st municipal water system brought unfiltered water from the Pawtuxet River in Cranston to the city. In 1925, the city created the Scituate Reservoir by damming the Pawtuxet. The reservoir continues to serve much of RI. Read more at 🔗 in bio!
