I’ve come to know in these decades of life that average, voting folks are a whole lot smarter than masterminds give them credit for being. It’s easy to read through the lines when you actually talk to people every day. The next couple of months should be interesting.

Since my car was out today and I had to scoop my youngest from after school, I decided to hit the bus for an afternoon trek. Just getting back in, I must say: I definitely have an adventure to write about. Grateful I’m a public transit vet, and this kid has my sense of humor.

Real issues of displacement in the city. I know times are hard and there is a lot at stake on the ballot coming up, but let us not be afraid to take stances to support the needs of people who are struggling in the midst of citywide economic prosperity.
