An interesting perspective on tonight's BBC YM final. What gladdens me (and slightly surprises because it reminds me how quickly their progression has been) is how the year of Sheku winning also saw Gillam and Goldscheider as runners up - and their careers have soared since too.

A cracking new violin concerto for Nicola Benedetti by @JamesMacM performed by @SCOMusic which needs to be heard more and more. Also, a remarkable performance of Tchaik 6 which had so much raw energy to it that my jaw frequently hit the floor.
