Yesterday, I passed my viva! Huge thanks to my examiners Filipe França and Edgar Turner - it was a pleasure. And of course to KratinaLab, Gustavo Q Romero and everyone else in the UK and Brazil, without which this journey would not have been possible🥹

This bird flew into my house moments ago and we got this picture before we managed to help it find it’s way out. Any guesses on what it is? The Merlin app suggests - reed warbler, lesser or greater whitethroat.
