One of the practices I do is taking notes in the books I read. I then type in those notes in a word document for whenever I need them. One book I read a few yrs ago that I’m now transcribing is Deep Work, by Cal Newport. Has immense applicability in our world today.

Let’s work!

As we approach a new season, I will highlight some teams that I can't wait to see. I'll start with Trento (Lega A). They have a revamped roster w/a few NBA guys, seasoned vets, & a head coach who gets his teams to play fast in space. Great stuff in their 1st preseason game.

2nd team I'll highlight is Trieste, last year's Serie A2 champion. Led by Jamion Christian, Trieste does a great job of cutting to open space for shooters & drivers. J Uthoff is a laser, C Ross sets the pace, & their wings are super skilled. Can't wait to see how Trieste evolves!

Every team needs a guy like this. Absolute stud in his role, plays with a high motor, defends and seems to be a great teammate.

It’s good to see a literal dynamic duo back together! You’d be hard-pressed to find 2 coaches who respect and push one another more than Nick Friedman & Cody Toppert! Can’t wait to see what the Go-Go cook up this season!

Great hire for Maine! Landon is well-versed in all areas of PD, and will be a huge asset in all areas of their program!

Jamie Brooks, the 6-6 SF at Atlantic Collegiate, might be my early favorite for South Carolina Player of the Year honors this season Atlantic Collegiate Academy Averaged 14.5 points, 11.5 boards, and 3.0 stocks while shooting 68.9% FG & 75.0% FT last season.

I can’t wait to attack this journey with this group!
