A trooper with THP’s MC+ in Knox Co performed an inspection on a CMV. The trooper detected multiple blown tires & electrical wires that were arcing which nearly caused a fire. In total the trooper reported 37 violations as he removed the unsafe driver and CMV off the road.

Today, Commissioner Jeff Long, Colonel Matt Perry and members of the command staff visited Trooper Adam Cothron at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. We are happy to say that Adam is making tremendous progress. Please keep Adam in your prayers as he continues his recovery.

A trooper with THP’s MC+ unit in Giles Co. performed an inspection on a CMV. The trooper detected this broken brake chamber. The unsafe truck was put out of service before the brake chamber had the opportunity to possibly fall onto the roadway where it may have caused a crash.
