I just cancelled a flight with British Airways - £30 cancellation fee! They keep a signifcant proportion of the money I paid for my flights then charge ME despite the flights going back on sale! £30!!!

I started advocating for improved mental health support during PhD study because I really struggled, despite having lots of support. I talk about the challenges of a PhD not to scare, but to push for change. I hope that we can do better as a collective.

Received a letter today from my dentist who are stopping NHS treatments and so I now need insurance. Waited 3.5 hours for an ambulance earlier this week (not for me). That's only the tip of the crumbling NHS iceberg!
