I'm amazed how excited people get about demos of AI doing things at scale, quickly, cheaply and rather badly.

Look at this chatbot not really handle the question, but it was almost free.

Look at this machine that can write worthless content at scale in seconds

Building the entire future on software that is frequently wrong, could it turns out, be a bad idea.

It seems to skew to those that know almost nothing about technology. And those who know the very most.

But it always seems like lots of issues in one bundle.

- some is about IP and IP theft
- some of it is about cybersecurity…

Adobe have done something quite amazing, going from being absolutely loved and admired to hated and distrusted, in about 10 years.

All while making a very good product.

Somehow the culture and the target audience seem massively misaligned.

I do absolutely love it when tech companies make super short demo videos of specific features.

Not least because it's super easy to use in Keynotes you deliver to explain things.
