On 8/28/54, Alexandre “Marius” Jacob died. Jacob was an anarchist thief who carried out ~150 robberies, targeting the rich, politicians, and clergy. He donated money he robbed to anarchist causes. Ultimately he was caught, after shooting a cop, & sentenced to exile in Guiana.
