Last weekend, 100k visitors at 240 leisure centres & 120 libraries celebrated the start of summer, in probably the largest activity of its kind to take place in the UK. Our Open Weekend included scores of free activities with more than 40k swimmers taking a dip in our pools.

We're thrilled to have eight finalists across four categories in this year's ukactive awards. Proud to be recognised for the difference our social enterprise is making in communities across the UK.

In the latest push by the NHS to find cancer earlier, we’ve joined forces with NHS England to reflect an important reminder. From today, stickers featuring the message 'Check You Out' will appear on mirrors in over 240 gyms and leisure centres and 76 libraries in England.
