Seems Keir Starmer was right when he proclaimed “Labour are the real conservatives now” 🤦🏻‍♂️

How can any party that welcomes such a Pro-Brexit, Anti-Europe, Little Englander into its ranks claim to be progressive?🤷‍♂️

accepting , who voted

- not to curb 'fire & rehire' practices
- whose sudden 'focus' on housing does not tie up with her voting record
-who voted against improving biodiversity and air quality

Seems a stunningly poor choice!

One party state is when you hold elections but the barriers and ramifications to opposing the ruling party are such that the ruling party has to set aside some seats in Parliament for non-elected MPs. To astroturf democratic elections.

My , perhaps of the year so far, is ‘complicit’. The adjective (1800s) formed from the noun (c1650) ‘complicity’ via French from Latin ‘complicare’ - fold or weave together - from ProtoIndoEuropean * ‘plek’ - plait.
