Had a great time demonstrating for the first time on the 1st year’s fieldtrip to Arran with Oxford Earth Sciences! We followed Arran’s journey, from the Caledonian Orogeny to its passing across different climates and environments as it travelled North. 🗻

Day 8 of the Oxford Earth Sciences fieldtrip to . I haven’t tweeted for a few days; I’ve been making a map of the North Glen Sannox valley 👀 Very interesting rocks recording arc-continent accretion hundreds of millions of years ago! Parts covered up so students can’t spy on mine!
