The Grenfell report confirms what the families of victims have been saying for years: Deaths were caused by "decades of failure" by the government to end the use of combustible cladding and the prioritisation of corporate profit over human lives.

This report demonstrates beyond doubt that an agenda of deregulation cost lives. But beyond Grenfell, the system is still putting lives at risk across the country...

The government must go further than apologising for the failures. The Prime Minister must ensure justice finally prevails, and those still living in dangerous towers are protected.

Over 40% of council houses sold under Right to Buy are now in the hands of private landlords. But apparently that doesn’t reduce council housing stock 🤔
