One of my all time favorites, I hear people say “how did he hit like that?” Because when he was ready to swing he was in a strong position to put wood on ball, there’s a pattern between all good hitters and they all get to that very similar position.

I think the biggest mistakes people make in life are waiting for the perfect timing, and/or thinking they have to have everything figured out before they get started. Take messy action with an open mind, you’ll figure it out along the way.

Before I reached my dream of playing in the mlb, I attempted to succeed at the plate 1371 times and I failed 951 times, only successfully getting a hit 420 times. Failure is an indispensable ingredient to your success, learn from it to build experience, not to get discouraged.
