That's in fact quite disingenuous, especially coming from someone who is part of board actively undermining democratic procedures, and who got only 24% of the votes in the 2020 election (or less than 30% of all registered MI voters).

This was the third day of Ono's Year of Democracy and Civic Engagement 4 protestors arrested. Two of them people of color. One a 16-year-old! On the phone, their parents were told that they could find their child either at the police station or hospital....

UMich libraries were the site of student protest during Black Action Movement (1970) & Being Black at the University of Michigan (#BBUM) in 2014. The University is now reversing protest-friendly policy & are using libraries as the site of surveillance. Hope librarians fight back
