Just a reminder for everyone, including people like Peter Dutton, the AEC ✏️ has a page that corrects the disinformation being pushed by the No campaign. So if you are speaking on the issue or a journo reporting on it, you have no excuse aec.gov.au/media/disinfor…

The upcoming referendum seems pretty simple to me. Do we want Indigenous Australians to be recognized in the constitution? And do we want to accept their request to be consulted about things that affect them? I’m voting “Yes”. For more info click here: voice.gov.au/about-voice

Spoke with BBC, see article below. "Each liberal democracy that has a similar colonial history, has something in place, particularly at a federal level. Australia has nothing," says Dani Linder, a Bundjalung, Kungarakany woman & legal academic at the UQ. bbc.com/news/world-aus…

Wow. The news today. Former Chief Justice of the High Court, the UN special rapporteurs for Development & Rights of Indigenous Peoples, hundreds historians, & public law teachers all speaking to the Australian people and explaining why the Voice is needed, urgent, and not risky

Dr Dani Linder (@danilinder88) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I've signed another open letter w 70 other public law colleague's who teach constitutional law in universities across Aus. We confirm the Voice is not legally risky & divisive. It is a safe legal reform to bring positive practical outcomes for FN ppl abc.net.au/news/2023-10-0…

This thread from Dr Gabrielle Appleby explains succinctly our open letter, signed by 71 public law teachers, to help voters sift through the information on the Voice, details here abc.net.au/news/2023-10-0…

Seventy constitutional law experts have penned an open letter to dispel some of the misinformation circulating surrounding the Voice to Parliament, so, we ask Madelaine Chiam, who signed the letter, to summarise the Voice in a simple way for us.

32 Law Academics at Queensland's oldest Law School UQ Law School, with expertise across diverse areas of law, say the Voice proposal is well-considered, legally sound and will improve Australia’s democracy. I am proud to be one of them. #Yes23 2023-voice-referendum.webflow.io

My father was a journalist who was murdered doing his job. There has been no accountability for his death. It saddens me to see ongoing impunity for similar attacks today.
