Welfare and medical provision are so important to a successful Annual Camp. My thanks to Padre S Royal Army Chaplains’ Department and our Medical Support Officers for their work supporting Essex Army Cadet Force this week in so many ways. It is greatly appreciated by everyone.

During my camp visits this summer I always see our great team of Padres looking after the wellbeing of our Cadets and CFAVs. Many thanks to our Padres for looking after us and the great work they do for us.

Thank you to Merseyside ACF for hosting me for the Med Br Assurance visit. Big shout out to Padre (Rabbi) Moshe and Padre (Fr) David for looking after me and to SMI Stacey for looking after medical support at short notice

At this week's Merseyside ACF Camp the Padres are looking in on all the activities and supporting staff and cadets pastorally from 7am until midnight at least! With perfect weather, good food and fun activities the 200+ cadets are having a great time. #DoingMinistryDifferently

It's not just cadets who get certificates in the Army Cadets. 7 CFAVs got their certificates for completeling the Army Cadets Healthy Minds course which is designed to give an understanding of mental health, resilience and wellbeing. A vital course for all instructors to attend.

Our amazing Padres, leading our Welfare engagement on camp. The smiles say it all. They work incredibly hard and deal with a great deal. They are part of the background apparatus that keeps camp rolling, and provide care for our Cadets emotional needs.
