My bill, AB 1889, just passed the Senate! As cities grow, wildlife has no choice but to exist alongside us. We can do more to keep both humans & animals safe: wildlife crossings, safer fencing, reduced lighting. AB 1889 requires these types of mitigation measures as cities grow.

California’s wetlands are precious and irreplaceable. Last year, the Supreme Court stripped 51% of the nation’s wetlands of federal protections. AB 2875 will ensure that California’s wetlands remain protected and unaffected by the Supreme Court’s devastating ruling.
