Three new #moorhen added to the National project. Also this wonderful jay and like 30 blackcaps! Feels a nice year for them! 🥹🙏

Some of our colour ringed chicks seems to be reluctant to leave Wales, while others are already departed and living their best life in warmer habitats. One example is F:E78 ringed by Annie Booker who is already in Quarteira, Portugal! Good luck little one ! 📸: Daniel Santos

Tyto alba. Best Latin name ever! We have started our owl catching season at Bristol Port with this lovely bird! Hopefully, more to come to help us understand how the serval families on site use the territory and locality disperse.
