For anyone in BRC, help each other stay safe. The gate and airport in and out of Black Rock City remain closed. Ingress and egress are halted for the time being. Stay prepared for adverse weather conditions continuing through the night and into Saturday.

Do not travel to Black Rock City! Access to the city is closed for the remainder of the event, and you will be turned around.

Gate Road remains too wet & muddy for most vehicles to safely navigate out of BRC this morning, but is drying. Exodus likely to begin around noon today, Monday 9/4. We will update you again in the next few hours. Listen to BMIR 94.5 FM, GARS 95.1 FM and watch here for updates.

As of 2pm Mon 9/4, Exodus operations have officially begun in Black Rock City. The driving ban has been lifted. Exodus wait times coming shortly on Burning Man Traffic. The playa is still muddy in some areas. Stay on hard-packed roads and out of standing water.

The Man burn will happen tonight, Monday 9/4, at 9pm. Chapel of Babel is scheduled to burn at midnight (aka Tuesday 9/5). The Temple burn is scheduled for Tuesday 9/5, at 8pm. These Burns will be available via the Official Burning Man Webcast: burningman.org/live-webcast/

If you are able to depart BRC tomorrow 9/5, please do so! Watch the Man Burn tonight (9pm) and the Chapel of Babel burn (12a). Do an extra MOOP sweep (or two) with your campmates. Cook that last tasty, communal meal. There’s a lot of traffic on Gate Road right now.

You might be much happier hanging out in camp with your friends than sitting in a static line of cars for many hours. Wake up refreshed on Tuesday and hit the road then.

The wait time to exit BRC is 7 hours and climbing. If you are able to, wait to exit BRC until later tonight or tomorrow, and save yourself the long wait. The man burns in 2 hours! If you do exit, tune into GARS 95.1 for updated information on your way.

If you need to return to BRC to complete teardown contact Placement, Art, or the DMV before you return - they will provide you information. If you were not affiliated with those depts and were in open camping, please email [email protected] for further instructions.
