We love getting messy 🎨 😂. We used our finger to blend chalk pastels together to create an octopus. We then practised our cutting skills by cutting up the dotted lines carefully ✂️

We have been enjoying playing pairs with our friends. We have been learning to take turns and developing our memory skills by searching for the matching pictures 🧠 🍎 #prephonologicalawareness

Fun in the nursery garden! The children today were enjoying the sunshine, exploring the water tray and using the slide. 💦🪴☀️

Some of the children were digging through the soil to find hidden potatoes, they then washed them in the water tray! 🥔💦

This week we decided to add come cinnamon to our play doh mix, once it was made the children used cutters and backing trays to make biscuits and cakes! “It smells lovely ”J “Now they need to go in the oven to cook” E

We've been showing great improvements when working on our independent "DIY" tasks lately and have started using our new wall charts to help us keep track of the daily work we've completed 🐝✨️ Carronshore Primary

Who doesn't love playing with dice! 🎲 🎲 🎲 🎲 They were helping us with our subatising, quick addition, doubles... and (with a bit of prompting) we also figured out the rule about opposite sides adding up to 7 🪄 Carronshore Primary

Nothing like a sunny day spent exploring the sand pit!! The children were using their imagination while digging and building sand castles.☀️🏖

Today the children were using the climbing frame. They were jumping, climbing and sliding which was developing their gross motor skills. 😍😁

Den Building Part One!! ⛺️ The children have been busy building dens outdoors, collaborating and using their problem solving skills. They‘ve been using their gross motor skills as they select the size of tyres and roll them over. 😍☀️⛺️
