In all sincerity and seriousness I hope two things that come back from Springfield after Mayor Johnson’s trip are just copying the Statehouse’s efficient security screening and session day coffee stand for City Council chambers.

Things passed:

- U-Pass extended through summer
- CC jail is purchasing more CTA tickets/passes w/reimbursement to CTA
-Right of Entry agreement for a property on the 5000 block of Broadway for TimeLine Theatre

The City Council license committee approves a measure to ban all future 4am bars in the 1st Ward, intro’d by Alderman Daniel La Spata. Existing late night bars not impacted. Full Council approval expected this month. Block Club Chicago
