Open Gym #5 for me as I made my way to St. Joseph's Prep and HC Jason Harrigan has some returning firepower to start with and now it will be a matter of finding those extra pieces that can contribute to winning games in the always tough Philly Catholic League.

The Prep Hawks will start with the class of 2025 and 3 returning starters in 6'4" Jaron McKie (no pic) (Dayton) who was out sick today, 6'3" Jordan Ellerbee (P-L) (FGCU) a slick talent with a nice jumper and slashing ability & 6'0" Olin Chamberlain (P-R) a nifty point & winner.

A few more '25's who could contribute in assigned roles are 6'2" Harry Barnes (P-L), 5'9" Gavin Pennington (P-Top) & 6'7" Connor Patackis (P-bottom) who is a virtual newcomer to varsity basketball at the Prep

In the class of 2026 you have probable starter 6'4" Will Lesovitz (P-L) and from the class of 2027 you'll have an exciting transfer in 6'3" Mekhi Robertson (P-top) and workmanlike 6'3" Myles Peterson to round out those classes.

Finally for St. Joseph's Prep we have 3 '28's who should get their feet wet in 6'5" Julian McKie (P-L) and his brother 6'0" Justin McKie (P-R) whose father is former Temple HC Aaron McKie and another Frosh 6'2" Jett Harrison (no pic) who also excels in FB. Dad is Marvin Harrison
