I saw this and was SCREAMING at the TV. Idc how well he runs, Leonard is a pussy to not try and heave one to a wide open receiver.

Should say, “Kept it on the ground.” Angeli is the one who actually got ND’s offense “off the ground” with their first passing TD.

Steve Angeli should be starting on Saturday here’s why: Steve is 40-53 with 9 passing touchdowns and 1 interception with a bowl win at Notre Dame. Riley Leonard is 49-78 with 0 passing touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Start Steve! ☘️☘️ #GoIrish☘️

I remember when people said it was bad when Angeli took a sack a week ago, and that it was why he wasn’t QB1. What say you now about Leonard? By your definition of a good QB and sacks, Leonard should be relegated to QB2.

Marcus Freeman is content with an inefficient QB who doesn’t throw the ball well. Maybe higher ups at ND, like the ones who approved and signed Leonard’s NIL check, are the ones dictating who the starting QB is.
