Excellent day with Gloucestershire ACF for their CFAV medals presentation parade. Brilliantly supportes by the Lord Lieutenant, DCOMD Cadets, and COMD South West. Very nice to see so many KCMs, Cadet Forces Medals and Clasps presented. Well done Gloucestershire ACF.

Good visit to see Bristol and Channel Islands ACF at Castlemartin. Everyone had settled in and was delivering a first class Cadet Experience. Many thanks for hosting me.

Whist at Standall Camp I spent time with the North East Cadet Training Team where they were delivering a BIA with both ACF and CCF adults. Great to see both organisations coming together for training. Enjoyed my round table meeting with the CCF adults. Many thanks for the time.

Brilliant visit to see Northumbria ACF at Stansall Camp. Everything set up and ready to go to deliver a first class Cadet Experience. Excellent to see the thought that had gone into creating welfare facilities for both cadets and adults. This was a model I recognise and value.

At Altcar Training Camp yesterday visiting Dyfed & Glamorgan ACF during their summer camp. An informative and lively brief in the morning and also seeing some great activities being delivered for our cadets. Many thanks for your time.

Spent my last Annual Camp visit this summer at Longmoor seeing Nottinghamshire ACF. A good day with visitors from many parts of the community. Also thanks to the Commandant and Colonel Cadets East Midlands for giving me some time at the end of the day.

We are please to announce that we will be opening for heritage open days on the 14th September 1-4pm. With free entry to the house and refreshments available in the cafe. We will not be opening on our usual first Saturday in September.

Great day yesterday at the Cadet Vocational College Westminster Awards held in the House of Lords. Some impressive young people from all of the cadet organisations. Congratulations to Harry Rilett-Malborn, a Royal Navy Cadet from Phoenix Collegiate CCF for winning the Award.
