And that’s 2023 folks. One last arrest to add to the books. Last night I patrolled, concerned with the welfare of festive revellers with a focus on VAWG, when I had to step in for an assault. Male on female. The perp still denied the assault despite it happening in front of me.

We are sporting a new look for 2024 - the first major update to our Force crest since the States of Jersey Police were formed in 1952 with the addition of the King’s Crown. The new crest will be phased in throughout 2024.

Yesterday a group of Police Officers and Staff attended the Les Quennevais School careers fayre during the day we spoke to students from all year groups about what we do.

I have so many happy memories with Richie and Achilles. Dog training, hide and seek, and an absolute legend of a dog. Fearless, yet loving. A great connection/ bond between handler and dog. So well trained. Achilles in 1 word… Awesome
