This evening, Sgt. Clarence Goins, Officer Seth Parker, and Officer Nicholas Smithers were presented with the Award for Valor during the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police & Foundation Awards Banquet. This is the highest honor an officer can receive from the VACP.

#DanvillePD remembers Percy L. Rowland, who retired with 36 years of service to our community and the DPD. Our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and all who knew him during this difficult time.

Officer Kamden Lewis and Officer Marlene Carlson are now proud members of the Danville Police Department Honor Guard. Yesterday, Chief Christopher K. Wiles presented them with their Honor Guard badge. Congratulations, Officers Lewis and Carlson!
