At the Port Vila Central Hospital in Vanuatu, I toured the new Intensive Care Unit which opened in July thanks to the joint efforts by the governments of the United States, Japan, Australia, and Vanuatu. I also met the Peace Corps Volunteers who returned to Vanuatu in July 2024

Delighted to dedicate the opening of Embassy Port Vila, the United States’ newest embassy. It was a pleasure to welcome senior Ni‑Vanuatu government officials, local alumni of U.S. exchange programs, and the diplomatic corps who joined the ceremony.

I was honored to commemorate the repatriation of Vanuatu cultural artifacts and thank Department of State, FBI, U.S. Coast Guard and Fedex, whose cooperation made this possible.
