This will only get worse UNLESS and UNTIL we begin prioritizing public education in our state like we prioritize other things. Having to fight and rally to be able to provide a sound basic education shouldn’t be what we’re having to do in 2024…and yet, here we are.

Had the chance to celebrate the work of our Pine Hollow Middle School students and 7th grade school counselor (Mr. Brown) on their 1st place anti-bullying video at today’s WCPSS Board of Ed. meeting!

Connecting with these guys today was the highlight of my day. I wasn’t their principal when they were Pine Hollow Middle School, but it was so nice to celebrate them and wish them well on their next journey! Leesville Road High—I will be crashing graduations going forward! 💙💚

I had the pleasure of spending today with my WCPSS Northwestern principal crew, and I have to say, this group rejuvenates and encourages me in so many ways every time we’re together. I’m so grateful for this network of such distinguished leaders and a boss like Seydric Williams!

One day to close out the 23-24 school year and prep for first workday with staff on Monday for 24-25, and one of our teachers brought me this! They knew I needed it! ❤️
