On the 80th anniversary of D-Day, I thought I'd start today with "Poole Harbour" by Elwin Hawthorne which dates from 1934. Poole Harbour was the third largest embarkation point for allied troops with roughly 300 ships leaving the harbour in the first wave. #DDay
