No one "hacked" the pagers. This is Israeli mumbo jumbo to make themselves look special. Explosives were placed in the devices. There is a security issue somewhere in the supply chain.

I don't think it matters that much whose technology it is. If the supply chain or products can be sabotaged during manufacturing or transit, the result is the same.
